How the cases are written

Every case starts from the kinds of questions candidates report from real PM interviews. Before writing the 57 cases, we collected and grouped about 470 publicly reported product manager interview questions across six industries, by question type and company. Each case is then written as a full interviewer sheet: the prompt, the data to reveal only when asked, red herrings, the root cause or strongest answer, and the ideal path. Numbers are checked so they add up, and the companies are fictional so the cases stay fair and don't depend on insider knowledge.

How the interviewer and scorecard work

The interviewer is an AI that follows the case sheet. It only shares the data you ask for, pushes back on jumps in logic, and gives a small hint if you're stuck. Your scorecard compares what you did with the case's ideal path on five skills: structuring, analysis, creativity, synthesis and the close. It's practice feedback, not a prediction of any real interview, and AI can make mistakes.
